OPERATIONAL MEDICINE

Assessment and Training Solutions Consulting Corporation (ATSCC) provides training in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC). TCCC is a set of trauma care guidelines for use in the pre-hospital combat setting. ATSCC’s TCCC training program is a “hands-on” method of instruction specifically developed for the military and those individuals requiring special tactics and/or immediate trauma skills when battlefield, remote care, prolonged transport, or unique rescue and/or environmental conditions exist. Training concentrates on treatment of the combat trauma casualty/patient with emphasis on penetrating, blunt, and blast trauma while taking into account environmental and situational concerns. ATSCC’s TCCC training program is level based, exclusively designed to instruct the training in an individual or joint format, allowing both the operators and medical providers to participate in a course of instruction simultaneously at a level of training, skill and interest for all members of the unit. Learning is maximized by using customized scenarios developed to exercise all phases of TCCC by the individual and team. TCCC ensures you train the way you operate.

ATSCC’s TCCC instructor cadre are hand selected subject matter experts from the SOF medical community with real world experience who can effectively communicate and educate at all levels of instruction.

TECC is the civilian counterpart to TCCC. TECC guidelines take into account the specific needs of civilian public safety and first responders serving civilian populations. Training concentrates on treatment of the trauma casualty/patient with based upon the tactical situation, injuries sustained by the casualty, the equipment at hand and the knowledge and skills of the responder. ATSCC’s TECC training program is level based, allowing law enforcement, fire service and EMS to participate in a course of instruction simultaneously at the appropriate level of training. Learning is maximized by using customized scenarios developed to exercise all phases of TECC by individuals and teams. ATSCC’s TECC instructor cadre are hand selected subject matter experts from the SOF medical community and Public Safety, with real world experience who can effectively communicate and educate at all levels.
