Designed
for the international traveler classes include trip planning, development
of emergency and escape plans, personal vulnerability assessment, terrorist
targeting, individual or group protective/ security measures, travel and
hotel selection, disaster and/or terrorist escape procedures. Air, water
and boat safety during travel and urban movement, locating food, water
and shelter with limited resources, money exchange and more. Classes have
been tailored for business groups, professional travelers, students, and
families. Field exercises can be demanding for those who are not familiar
with movement and surviving the urban environment without the benefit
of money.
Background:
This course was specifically developed to meet the challenges faced by
a continual and growing terrorist threat. Past clients have included DOD
SOF, Governmental SWAT and Special Response Units, NATO and other allied
forces, and fortune 500 corporations. Course length and content can be
adjusted to meet unit specific needs. Clients required meeting NFPA and/or
OSHA standards have a minimum amount of instruction hours regardless of
experience level.
