This
covers the dangers encountered during confined space operations with an
emphasis on cave, wells and damaged or collapsed urban structures. Classes
review the hazards and effects encountered when operating in an increased
demand and decreased oxygen environment, entrapment potential and self-rescue,
toxic gasses and monitoring for safety, survivability and recovery. Although
primarily designed for rescue personnel and specialized tactical teams
due to intense rope work requirements with rescue procedures, past classes
have included dog handler teams, security personnel, and rescue workers.
OSHA laws and requirements reviewed upon request.
